Our Book Steampunk: Design in Time Has a New Home

Between everything else going on, Melanie and I have  been working on a book about Steampunk design  and culture which we hope blends our experience. We are thrilled to work with with Judith More at Fils Rouge Press  to bring it to completion.

The book describes how Steampunk has moved from a subculture into mainstream popular culture, influencing fashion, film and television, and the craft community. It explores how the retro-futurist design aesthetic has reached interior design, both domestic and commercial. We've included our own designs and mood boards showing Steampunk themes to inspire professionals wanting to bring this new trend into their work, along with detailed advice and resource guides to aid adventurous homeowners wanting to DIY or commission a Steampunk interior design.
